A Nip or Two in Edinburgh

No food tour is complete without a few samples of local beverages, and in my case, with a number of leftover photos after I’ve written about the food.

In Edinburgh, not surprisingly, that includes Scotch Whisky (you’ll hear from them if you spell it with an ‘e’—that makes it Irish). And, apparently, they value being ‘forthright without being impertinent.’

Character aside, too much whisky could be a problem headed downstairs from a tasting at the Scottish Malt Whisky Society’s elegant headquarters.

At this stop, more wine and snacks than whisky, but a great guessing game for those who can identify the guests at this amusing version of Da Vinci’s The Last Supper
