Well, maybe not such a New York moment—the era of the brightly-lit and sometimes music-blaring neon-lit pedicab has also come to London, Las Vegas and even Charleston, South Carolina.
And, while some critics have found them irritating and unwelcome, they’ve clearly found a niche in the tourism trade; just leaf through any Facebook group for New York visitors and you’ll see dozens of people including them in their plans.
Although, not all their operators seem pleased…
