Lake Monticello, Palmyra, Virginia

About 10 miles south of Charlottesville, Virginia and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello Estate is Lake Monticello. Once built for weekend getaway cottages and cabins, it is now a thriving community of permanent residents surrounding the beautiful manmade lake.

Lake Monticello is replete with water sports, golf, fishing, basketball, pickleball, five beaches, restaurants, swimming pool and other amenities.  To gain access to Lake Monticello call the entrance gate at 434-589-3215 or access their website at lmoa.org.
