Belgium’s Royal Library, known as KBR, will re-open its museum in May after more than a year of renovation that includes a new elevator for access to the collections and to a rooftop viewpoint over the city’s Mont des Arts.
The museum told press that “The rooftop terrace will feature an interactive installation showcasing the sounds of Brussels, making it the perfect warm-up for the masterpieces in the KBR Museum.”
Those sounds include the subject of the museum’s first major new exhibition, Polyphonic Masters, an interactive experience highlighting the work of Franco-Flemish polyphonic composers whose work was a major influence in the music of the 15th and 16th centuries.
