Birds of the Amazon, Peru

I sailed on the M/V Zafiro along the Amazon River in Peru. We set off in our skiff from the riverboat daily to look for wildlife along the river’s tributaries.

Toucan
Spot-breasted Woodpecker
Yellow-rumped Cacique

I am not a wildlife photographer, but I have managed to photograph several birds.

Macaw
Oriole Blackbirds
Red-capped Cardinal
Black-collared Hawk

According to the South American Classification Committee of the American Ornithological Society, Peru has 1883 confirmed bird species. With the help of naturalist Juan Tejada, I can identify most of the birds I photographed.

White-winged Swallow (this picture and above)
Slate-colored Hawk

However, there are six shown here that I cannot determine; their names are lost somewhere in my notes. Maybe you know these birds’ names.
