Located in a small room adjoining the Jardin Marjorelle in Morocco is a display of hand-etched mini-posters varying greatly in their color, design and content. A constant feature of each was that they contained the word “love” and a year.
It turns out these were all created by the former owner of the garden, famed fashion designer Yves St. Laurent (YSL). He crafted them for decades (most years between 1970 and 2007) as gifts to his friends, acquaintances and business associates. These were uniquely made for the coming New Year. I thought it a nice tradition, which I now share with you….
