The small city of Vernal is located in Eastern Utah, not far from Colorado. Vernal is close to Dinosaur National Monument and the fossil rich deposits of this area. The town makes a good base from which to explore this region and plays up its dinosaur heritage in a big way, including the Utah Field House of Natural History State Park. and lots of dinosaur displays….
Additionally, the area is part of the Wild West of the 19th century, and you’ll find ties to it including these vintage signs….
Lastly, like most small towns, it is proud of those who have served in the country’s Military and there are a number of displays around to this effect.
