It’s Spring again! What a great time of year to look back at my travels and some of the flower photos I took. I love photographing these delicate symbols of life, love, and sunshine. I hope you enjoy my journey back in time.
These three images, like the title image at the top, were taken in Turkey.
Garden gates, buildings and benches add a bit of background to many flower pictures; the one below is from Italy. The two images below that are from my visit to Tanzania.
A richly-hued burst at the feet of an English cathedral, and then two stunning flowers from Pethoni, in Greece. They seem almost too perfect to be real!
In Antigua, Guatemala, coffee is a big crop—but who thinks of flowers like these next two when they think of coffee plants! The two pictures after that, also from Guatemala, aren’t coffee, but they’re beautiful, and they have the undivided attention of a busy hummingbird.
Three photos from South Africa, with colors ranging from delicate to LOUD!
Cheerful daisies in Chile…
Three images from the Galapagos Islands include not only bright flowers but a web-footed visitor with very red feet and colorful eye markings.
Three very domestic and flowery scenes, from Rabat, Morocco, Portugal and Hoi An, Vietnam
And for a final flourish, a delicate Vietnamese lily in pastel shades!
Terrific collection of blossoms, Marilyn!
