With its international routes grounded for perhaps the next year, Australia’s Qantas Airways is having a clearance on gear originally meant to be distributed to long-distance business-class flyers. No tickets required.
The kits, seen below, include a complete set of business-class pajamas, an amenity kit, eye shade, smoked almonds, lemongrass tea and more.
Qantas product and service manager Phil Capps said the kits have been sitting in storage, and were ordered well in advance. While the pajamas are durable, some of the food items have limited shelf life. The kit is available for $25 (Australian) or 4325 frequent flyer points, including delivery. That’s about $18 US, but it’s not clear if overseas delivery is available.
