Oslo’s Munch Museum is getting a new outlet, and travelers will get a new chance to encounter one of Norway’s best-known artists when a new international terminal opens at Garedemoen Airport.
The exhibit of works from the museum will rotate regularly, and is part of a planned increased focus on art at the airport.
“The partnership with Oslo Airport gives the Munch Museum a completely new and exciting arena. Many thousands travel through that part of the terminal every day, so we will get a unique chance to introduce Edvard Munch to a completely new audience,” Munch Museum director Stein Olav Henrichsen said in an announcement by the airport operator, Avinor.
