October 15 2017, Greek Amphitheater – Siracusa Italy

The island of Sicily has some of the oldest ruins of Greek buildings. One of them is Amphitheater in the city of Siracusa. This large gathering place was home to many theatrical productions when the island was under control of the Greeks and Romans in the pre-christian era. It could hold many thousands of people.

Great pics Jonathan. Greece was on our short list for next year, but decided on Munich, Vienna, and Prague instead. Definitely still on our bucket list. Thanks for sharing.
