 001 Yucatan

About one hour’s drive from the popular beach resort town of Cancun you’ll find Tulum, a Pre-Columbian Mayan walled city.  Tulum is situated along the east coast of Mexico’sYucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea.  The ruined ancient city once served as major port for Cuba.  Today, the ruins of about 60 stone structures are located on top of 39 ft (12 m) tall cliffs overlooking deep blue Caribbean Sea.  A truly magnificent tourist spot and must see when visiting Mexico.
