It seems like an odd point in the year to remember winter caution, but winter comes earlier some places than others. This reminder is on a series of stairs that go up and down an area of Sulphur Mountain, near Banff, Alberta. They connect the upper terminal of an aerial tramway with restaurants, gift shops etc. But they also connect to the old stairs that go up to the weather station at the summit (below).
