Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond of Top Gear were driving across France while filming an episode. They were doing 143 kph (88 mph) in a 130 kph (80 mph) zone and received a harsh penalty.

This is a story I enjoy seeing. The budget hotel chain wins the top honor in the Worldwide Hospitality Awards

Responding to pressure from Asian and Middle Eastern carriers, it seems that European and American airlines are starting to pay more (?some) attention to those passengers in their Economy cabins

Dambulla is known for its Cave Temples which predate Christ. Legend has it that a Sri Lankan King, driven out of Anuradhapura, found a hiding place in these caves.

Remember those great, big, American cars of the 50s and 60s, and maybe even 70s? You don’t get much chance to see them unless you’re near a movie shoot…so imagine my surprise, on my first day in Stockholm, when I turned the corner and found a streetful of them!

Increasingly popular in England and throughout Europe are “Retro Revival” weekend gatherings featuring original 1950’s rock and roll bands and also some very good 2000’s Tribute Acts recreating the sights, sounds and styles of the era.
