Drone videos offer a new view

While small camera drones are not the big news they were a couple of years ago, they're making possible a new dimension in travel with more and more videos of places and sites available.

TheLocal.it has collected thirteen recommended drone videos of sites in Italy, ranging from city fly-overs to visits inside famous buildings, where drone video can often show details even live visitors can't see. Click HERE to view them.

These videos are from a variety of sources, ranging from individuals to tourism offices to travel agencies. Many are available on YouTube, which is, of course, a good place to search for drone videos of other places.
