Drone video shows off Norway's midnight sun

A new use every day for aerial drones. This time, it's a video of the midnight sun in Norway's Arctic region, where for a few days in the summer the sun never sets below the horizon.

This video was shot by a drone flying from the top of Donnamannen Mountain, 858 meters above sea level. The south face of the mountain is popular with hikers, including the drone-owner responsible for the video; the north face is an almost vertical, unclimbable drop.

I was not aware that drones were becoming so popular, but why not, I suppose?

I just left Yellowstone NP and there were signs everywhere specifically banning the use of drones (hope that includes from the government, too!).  Nothing like trying to fish a failed drone from a boiling thermal pool, I guess.
